...venue there really should be somewhere to run and whilst hotel staff are usually pretty useless when it comes to advising of a good local route I was lucky enough to have a work colleague who was prepared to come and meet me early and squeeze in a quick 10km before work started proper (I say proper as we inevitably talked work for most of the run).Exiting the hotel situated quite close to the NEC and Birmingham international airport we quickly reached a country lane and after a while were able to divert down a canal tow-path. Beautiful morning for it and also lovely to see so many canal boats moored up. Ah that's the life eh!
